Vinification/Ageing: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with maceration of 30 days, malolactic fermentation in wood. Ageing 22 months in barriques and tonneaux and another 11 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 14%
Description: Medium ruby red in colour with lovely notes of dried cranberries, licorice and rose petals. A perfectly elegant and accessible wine from the Alto Piemonte area. The Lessona is easy to drink young but will age for many years if you prefer to cellar. Limited production of 4495 bottles made of this vintage. Ageing potential 30+ years.
