Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo

Vineyard: 2.7 hectares, from 250m to 500m above sea level. Volcanic soils composed by porphyry, granite and sand that are rich in iron and have acid pH values. South / South East exposure.

Yield: 7,500 to 8,000kg / hectare

Vinification/Ageing: Alcoholic fermentation for 30 days on the skins at 25°C, in stainless steel tanks. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation during the spring. 24 months in 25 Hl French and Slavonian oak botti. Filtered with 1 micron filters. Annual production: 330 cases.

Alcohol: 14%

Description: Ruby red with fine perfume of small red fruit and sweet tobacco. Intense palate softened by tannins and an incredible mineral finish. From Gattinara's historically most famous cru.
