Case of 12 bottles
Varietals: 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 15% Montepulciano
Vinification/Ageing: Each varietal is separated and macerated for 2-3 weeks, then blended and aged in 25 hL oak barrels for 12 months. Clarification follows in cement vats for 6 months with ageing in bottle for a minimum of 6 months.
Description: Ruby red in colour, olfactory impact is intense and fruity with hints of cherry and wild berries. On the palate it is dry, balanced and well structured. The freshness provided by the Sangiovese makes this a wine that can be consumed immediately, and will continue to age in the bottle for several years.
