Varietals: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo
Vinification/Ageing: Fermentation in stainless steel vats with maceration on the skins for 2-3 weeks. Aged in small oak casks of two and three years with refining in bottle for a minimum of 10 months.
Description: Intense ruby red colour with plenty of red berry aromas and hints of leather and tart cherry. Full-bodied, round and fresh, featuring fine tannins and a juicy finish. The characteristic features of the Canaiolo soften the austerity of the Sangiovese, conferring roundness, volume and spicy aromas to this wine.
