Vinification/Ageing: Natural fermentation with indigenous yeast. Long maceration on the skins in steel vat for 65 days. 40 months ageing in large Slovenian oak casks with an additional 9 month minimum in bottle before release.
Description: Deep ruby with a complex and intense nose of red fruit and black pepper. Full bodied with great tannic structure and acidity, on a long mineral finish. Only for the best vintages does the estate decide to release the Anno Domini 1441 instead of the Brunello di Montalcino Riserva.
