Ageing/Vinification: 20 days spent in fruttaio (drying room) followed by 15 day cold maceration. 1 month fermentation in stainless steel and refining in 5 to 30 hl French oak barrels for at least 3 years and an extra few months in stainless steel tanks. Released after an additional 6 months in bottle.
Description: Ruby red with an elegant and complex nose of floral notes and wood berries evolving to eucalyptus and smoke with a touch of balsamic. On the palate, soft and well balanced with a persistent and elegant finale. 7000 bottles made.
