Case of 12 bottles
Varietals: Negroamaro 80%, Susumaniello 20%
Vinification/Ageing: 8 months refining in French oak barrels followed by 12 months ageing in the bottle.
Description: Complex and charming it shows fragrant and clean notes of cherries, black pepper, and plum alongside with leather and tobacco. Juicy and vibrant, it nicely combines acidity and tannins. The strength of the Negroamaro is softened by the Susumaniello making this a rich wine and an excellent expression of the Mediterranean.
“There’s a ton of fruit that’s quite upfront, but what there is still shows good freshness with fresh herbs, brambleberries, cranberry sauce and spices. Full body, a warm and soft core of fruit and a medium chewy finish. Drink now or hold” - 91 points, James Suckling
