2012 'More Rosé Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico DOCG

Case of 6 bottles

Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir

Ageing/Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested to crates after careful selection of the bunches. After the wine is pressed, it spends 36 months on the lees.

Alcohol: 12%

Description: The wine is a beautiful rose colour with elegant fruity aromas of blackberries and wild strawberries. The wine is soft and fruity on the palate with a pleasant fruity-minerality that gives freshness. Interestingly, the vineyards of Castle Cigognola are crossed by the 45th parallel, the same as Bordeaux, widely regarded as the reference point to indicate the best strip of land in Europe for growing grapes.
