Description: Beppe di Maria's 2013 Negroamaro opens to a richly extracted and dark appearance. The wine sees a 16-day maceration period for solidifying its aromas and deep color. The mouthfeel is very pleasant thanks to the soft tannins that wrap around the palate. Dark fruit, spice, toasted nut and blackberry preserves all play supporting roles. This is a clean and straightforward interpretation of the grape that is easy and fun to drink.
