Varietals: Nerello mascalese, nerello cappuccio (organic)
Vinification/Ageing: All grapes are destemmed and then put into stainless steel tanks for a 12 days’ maceration with the skins. Then pressed and aged in stainless steel for 12 months before bottling.
Description: Grown in the ancient volcanic soils on the hillsides of Mount Etna in Sicily. This wine is medium-bodied, elegant with with deep flavors of fruit and earth. Well balanced and complex with ripe tannins. Excellent with oily olives and sausages.
