Varietals: 70% Nebbiolo, 20% Croatina, 10% Vespolina
Vinification/Ageing: Classic fermentation without temperature control, with pumpovers and delestages. Malolactic fermentation. 3 years, of which 24 months in wood (6000l cask). The wine is then blended and aged for a few months in concrete tanks. No filtering, fining, or other additions.
Description: Textural seduction abounds from Italy’s version of a very, very fine red Burgundy. Ruby red and layered with a core of mature fruit, spice and finessed, silky tannins. Long ageing capability (30 years). 3500 bottles made.
