Vinification/Ageing: Stainless steel fermentation for 7-8 days followed by malolactic fermentation. Ageing in bottle for minimum of 2 months.
Description: Bright ruby red with pleasant notes of white pepper and spices. A fresh and plush palate with a persistent and spicy finish. Vespolina is a cousin to the Nebbiolo grape and like it, has aromas and flavours of mushrooms, wildflowers and ripe red fruits. In 2000, only 267 acres of this grape were planted, making this 100% Vespolina a rare wine.
