Vinification/Ageing: Fermentation in steel vats, followed by malolactic and 18 months ageing in large neutral oak barrels.

Description: Chiappemacine is their lowest vineyard, located on a thin layer of lava with a limestone bed underneath. The wine has a rounder, softer mouthfeel, and it displays a more floral profile. Ruby red with aromatics of red fruit, eucalyptus and dried florals. Medium body balanced, with a long finish. 4,000 bottles made.
