2017 Prapò Barolo DOCG

Case of 6 bottles

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo

Ageing/Vinification: 24 months in 20hl oak barrels

Alcohol: 14%

Description: Good deep red. Tighter and cooler on the nose than the Cerretta, showing subtle notes of black cherry, flowers and fresh herbs. Most impressive for its suavity, fine-grained intensity and light touch. Firm tannins and a persistent finish make this wine a great cellaring option, though it is still very drinkable now.

Cellar Selection, 96 Points, Wine Enthusiast: "Crushed mint, rose, woodland berry and forest floor aromas lead the nose in this full-bodied stunner. Firmly structured but boasting poise and precision, the focused palate delivers red cherry, blood orange, tobacco and star anise alongside a backbone of noble tannins. A tangy oyster shell note lingers on the close. Drink 2027–2037."
