Vineyard: Located in the Fitta microzone. Soil is of clear volcanic origin with a clay-silt texture. The name Le Rive indicates a vineyard cultivated on a very sloping land
Yield: 8 tons / hectare
Ageing/Vinification: Fermentation and ageing with 30% in oak barrels and 70% in steel vats for 20 days. Natural malolactic fermentation in oak. Aged in oak barrels (30%) and steel vats (70%) for 15 months in contact with its own sediment without racking, then the two parts are blended together in steel vats where they stay for a further 15 months. Only one membrane filtration before bottling
Alcohol: 13.5%
Description: Intense and brilliant yellow with golden highlights. On the nose it shows apricot and candied orange peel with black liquorice, anise, fennel, vanilla tobacco and crushed mineral nuances. A dense and fruity palate with a fresh and dry finish. The name Le Rive indicates a vineyard cultivated on a very sloping land.
