Varietals: 60% Nero d'Avola, 40% Frappato
Vineyard: 500m above sea level; Medium texture soil tending to compact, interspersed with limy tufa
Yield: 80 quintals
Vinification/Ageing: Fermented in stainless steel tanks with a 150 hl capacity at 25C to 28C; 10 to 20 days maceration on skins. Refining 8 months in Tonneau (oak and cherry). bottled in early March.
Description: Delicate aromas with notes of licorice and vanilla. On the palate, pleasant, harmonic, slightly tannic and velvety.
