2020 'Patricia' Pinot Noir Alto Adige DOC

Case of 12 bottles

Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir

Vineyard: grapes from 3 Pinot Noir-growing cru "Girlan", "Mazon" and "Pinzon"; altitude 380m to 530m ASL; soil: characterized by morainic deposits on volcanic porphyry rock as well as by west-facing, loamy limestone soils.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Vinification/Ageing: Grapes are hand-picked, placed in small containers to prevent excess pressure on the grapes. After destemming, the must is filled by gravity into the steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place (18-20 days). After malolactic fermentation,  aged 12 months in large wooden barrels (50 hl) then 6 months in bottle.

Description: A variegated wine with an excellent, markedly fruity structure. Ruby red, medium bodied, with good palate grip. Clay and limestone soil and the cooler climate typified by the region are perfect for Pinot Nero, giving it softness, elegance, and structure.
