Varietals: 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot.
Vineyard: 11 hectares, 450m above sea level. South/south west exposure. Soil is in abundance of fossils and ferrous clay.
Yield: 50 q.li / ha
Vinification/Ageing: Each varietal ferments separately for 20 days in stainless steel vats at 28°C. After fermentation, the wine is refined in French oak casks for 18 months. For the first months each varietal is aged individually, then blended by the winemaker and refinement continues for a further 8 months. 33,000 bottles produced.
