Tasting Notes: A light, fruity, and low-tannin red wine. Light ruby to ruby-red in colour with fruity, fresh aromas. Dry, elegant, with mild acidity on the palate; soft tones of bitter almonds in the finish.

Ageing/Vinification: Fermentation on the skins for 5 days. Malolactic fermentation and maturation in stainless steel at maximum temperatures of 28° C. Bottle aged 6 months before release.

Vineyard: Exposure: North facing Vineyard location: Marklhof, Cornaiano (Appiano) Elevation: 350m to 420m above sea level Soil: permeable moraine deposits on a porphyritic bedrock.
