Tasting Notes: Bright straw-yellow colored with delicate green nuances. Ample and varietal on the nose: fruity aromas (yellow peach, citron, grapefruit), Mediterranean aromatic herbs (sage, thyme, pine resin, anise). Full and persistent on the palate, with marked savouriness and mineral hints. Citrus fruit and almond notes on the finish.

Ageing/Vinification: Soft pressing, removal of solid matter from the must and controlled-temperature fermentation at 18°C. Aged in steel and large barrel on fine lees for 8 months.

Vineyard: Located in the Arroscia Valley, mostly from the historic Russeghine vineyard, in the hill rising above the town of Ranzo Borgo. 230m above sea level with south-east exposure. Red clayey soil, rich in skeleton and ferrous minerals. The Russeghine hill has been registered as “vineyard” owned by the diocesan administration since the late 1700s.
