Tasting Notes: Ruby red colour. The bouquet is broad and all-embracing with hints of blackcurrant, raspberry and plum that subsequently leave room to aromas of leather and liquorice and sensations of forest undergrowth. The palate recalls fruity aromas followed by a pleasant freshness and elegance. The tannin component is always well balanced.

Ageing/Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with long maceration on skins. Aged 12 months in 30-hectolitre oak barrels and subsequent ageing in bottle.

Vineyard: The vineyards stand on the hills overlooking Rimini, at an average altitude of 200m above sea level, just a few kilometres from the Adriatic Sea and Mount Titano. Soil consists primarily of clay, is free from rock fragments, cobbles and gravel, is rich in limestone and packed with organic substances.
