Tasting Notes: Ruby red in colour with hints of purple. Aromas of plum, raspberry and juniper. The palate is well-structured and smooth, with an elegant silky texture, that makes the wine pleasant and crisp. Well-balanced acidity and tannins are followed by an intense finish filled with spice and red fruit.

Ageing/Vinification: 13 to 15 days maceration in the marc with pumping over 3 times a day at 26°C. Refinement in 50/100- hectolitre stainless steel vats with frequent pumping over. Alcoholic fermentation at 28-30° C and malolactic fermentation in December. Refinement in stainless steel vats with re-current devating until next September, when it is bottled. Aged in bottles for about 5 months before release.

Vineyard: All estate owned in the Commune of Agliano Terme, with some vines in the Commune of Montegrosso. The winery is about 10 hectares, most of which are dedicated to Barbera, with small amounts of Grignolino, Syrah and Dolcetto. Sustainable farming of vines that were planted between 1970 and 2005. Approximately 230m above sea level with south-east exposure on sand with clay soil.
