Northern Whites Mixed Case

This carefully curated mixed case will take you on a journey through some of the iconic white wine appellations and grape varieties of Northern Italy. This area has plenty of altitude and, in many cases, vineyards are on steep foothills of the Alps. This creates a climate with great diurnal temperature variation and plenty of sunshine, allowing the grapes to develop complexity and vibrant acidity while still ripening beautifully. Although all different, these stunning whites are from low-yield, high-quality vineyards, allowing the aromatics of each grape variety to show its true character.

Included in this case of six there is one bottle of each:

Ermes Pavese 2022 Blanc de Morgex, Valle d'Aosta

100% Prié Blanc. A true alpine white with floral and aromatic herbal aromas with hints of white peach, fresh apricot, and white pepper. The palate is fresh and lively with a mineral finish. A balanced, aromatic wine.

Ettore Germano 2021 Langhe DOC Nascetta, Piedmont

100% Nascetta. A native white grape of the Alba area, grown on the hills of Barolo and Novello. A delicate bouquet of lemon, white flowers, sage, and thyme, medium to full body with a good acidity and wonderful mineral finish.

Abbazia Di Novacella 2022 Muller Thurgau, Alto Adige

100% Müller-Thurgau. A crossing of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, this variety is a fresh, fruity white wine. Lemon balm, chamomile, and fresh apples on the nose. Juicy, fruit-forward with a savory touch on the palate.

Primosic 2017 Klin Collio DOC, Friuli

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano, Chardonnay, and Ribolla Gialla. With 6 years of age, this wine stands out from the rest. You will get a complex nose with elegant yet intense exotic fruits and herbal notes. Full-bodied, with balanced acidity, refined and intriguing toasted undertones.

I Clivi 2021 Ribolla Gialla  'A Tessa' Venezia Giulia IGT, Friuli

100% Ribolla Gialla. From a single plot of 10-year-old vines in the Colli Orientali, this Ribolla Gialla is fresh and vibrant. Aromatically subtle, with a nose of lemon zest, palate marked by a refreshing citrus acidity combined with a very dry mineral finish.

Suavia 2022 Soave Classico DOC, Veneto

A superb Soave Classico, meticulously crafted with 100% Garganega cultivated from old vines, with an average age of 40 years, planted in volcanic soils at 300 m above sea level. Fresh and crisp on the palate, with great minerality and unmistakable character.
