Five Cocktails to Discover Doladira’s Alpine Spirit

Image: Doladira on the Dolomites Mountains at sunset

Doladira was born in the Dolomites, where steep peaks, alpine herbs, and a deep culture of craftsmanship shape its identity. Made with carefully selected botanicals and 60% less sugar than other leading aperitivi, it offers a distinctive bittersweet profile that is clean, vibrant, and beautifully balanced.

Equally at home in a simple spritz or a more refined cocktail, Doladira brings a fresh Alpine perspective to every serve. Here are five ways to enjoy it.

1. The Perfect Spritz

A crisp and refreshing mountain spritz with herbal complexity and a beautifully dry finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Doladira
  • 3 oz Prosecco
  • Splash of soda water
  • Orange slice

Method
Build over ice in a wine glass, top with soda water, stir gently, and garnish with an orange slice.

  • 1 oz gin

Bring Home the Italian Aperitivo Ritual

As Italians do, we recommend enjoying these cocktails alongside a few simple aperitivo favourites: olives, taralli, pizza, focaccia, cured meats, and cheeses. Because great aperitivo moments are never just about the drinks, they’re about slowing down, sharing food, and enjoying good company.

With Doladira, the spirit of the Italian Alps meets the warmth of Italian conviviality.

The Story Behind Doladira and it's bottle

We are proud to represent Doladira and to share its story.

Image: Doladira's founder Meredith Erickson

Doladira was founded by Meredith Erickson, a celebrated Canadian food writer and author of La Cucina di Terroni. Meredith collaborated closely with Cosimo on the creation of the book, and through that process we came to know her thoughtful approach to storytelling and her deep appreciation for authentic Italian culture, food, and hospitality.

Her vision for Doladira reflects that same philosophy: an aperitivo inspired by the Italian Alps, rooted in tradition yet refreshingly contemporary.

The bottle itself reflects this origin story. Its silhouette echoes a mountain peak, while its distinctive colour is inspired by Enrosadira: the pink glow that lights up the Dolomites at sunset.

More than a Glass: the art behind Sophienwald

When you first hold a Sophienwald glass, you notice it right away. It’s incredibly light, almost weightless. The rim is so fine it practically disappears on your lips. That balance isn’t by chance....
