Sky high Winemaking
Guido Marsella Winery, perched at a striking 700 meters above sea level in the picturesque Summonte region, offers a breathtaking view of the Partenio Park's rolling landscapes. This high-altitude location boasts a unique microclimate and diverse soil types, ideal for cultivating a variety of crops including hazelnuts, chestnuts, olives and of course, grapes.
The vineyards benefit from well-drained, rocky and clay-rich soils that infuse their wines with distinctive character. Each plot, with its own soil profile and age, contributes to the complexity and depth of the wines, showcasing a harmonious blend of traditional and innovative winemaking techniques. The winery’s dedication to quality is evident in their Fiano di Avellino DOCG, made exclusively from their own vineyards and aged to perfection for a rich, 100% pure expression of this ancient grape variety.

FOCUSED ON FIANO
Founded in 1995 by the visionary Guido Marsella, the winery has quickly become a beacon of excellence in the region. Drawing on the rich history of the Fiano grape, which dates back to ancient Greek times, Guido Marsella embraces a legacy of tradition and innovation. The Fiano grape, originally known as "vitis Apicia," was first planted in the Lapio area and later evolved to become the esteemed Fiano. Over the centuries, the grape has been celebrated by historical figures such as emperors, who recognized its exceptional qualities. The winery, continuing this rich heritage, focuses on preserving and enhancing the unique characteristics of Fiano, contributing to its growing prominence in both local and international wine circles.
