Founded in 1995 by cousins Alessio and Santi Planeta, alongside their uncle Diego, the Planeta winery has rapidly become a beacon of Sicilian winemaking. The Planeta family, with a rich heritage spanning 17 generations, has consistently embraced innovation while honouring traditional practices. Their journey began with a deep-rooted passion for native grape varieties and a curiosity for how international varieties could thrive in Sicilian terroirs.
