Boniperti

PIEMONTE

Attention to detail

Boniperti Winery is nestled in the scenic hills of Alto Piemonte, within the municipality of Barengo, Novara. This region's cool climate is perfect for cultivating grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Barbera. The vineyards, located just below the tree line at the mountain's base, benefit from southern exposure and fast-draining, acidic glacial soils. These conditions enhance the flavours and aromas of the wines, allowing production to thrive.

Emphasizing organic practices and minimal intervention, Boniperti continues to uphold the region's historical focus on sustainable viticulture. The result is a collection of fresh, fruity wines that beautifully express the terroir of this exceptional area.

"GO OUT IN THE VINEYARDS, THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO THERE!"

The Boniperti Winery story began nearly a century ago with grandfather Barton, who first planted the vineyards that are now the heart of the estate. In 2003, inspired by his grandfather's legacy and armed with knowledge from his studies in agriculture and enology at the University of Milan, Gilberto Boniperti revitalized the family vineyards. This project led to the founding of the Boniperti Winery.

Gilberto, the third-generation winemaker, combines traditional wisdom with innovative techniques, yet still meticulously tending to the vineyards by hand. Boniperti's wines have since gained recognition in the Alto Piemonte region, marking the winery as a rising star in Italian winemaking.
