A commitment to Ischia
Ischia's uniqueness is its defining feature. The island provides an ideal environment for ancient vines, yielding renowned wines despite challenging viticultural conditions. The labor-intensive process is unmatched, yet the region's agricultural passion conquers the steep slopes, dry stone walls, scorching sun, and wind with ease.
Despite facing challenges stemming from the island's terrain, Ischia's winemakers are dubbed as "crazy angels" by the press. With such dedication, the wines consistently mirror the distinctive terroir, showcasing pronounced minerality and seaside influences in every bottle.

Restoring the agricultural landscape
Today, preserving and revitalizing Ischia's rural landscape is a top social objective. Casa d'Ambra actively supports this cause by annually sourcing grapes from 150 Ischia viticulturists and maintaining three vineyards of their own. In the 1960s, a significant socio-economic shift led to the loss of over two thousand hectares to tourism development, disrupting the historical region. Motivated by their three decades of dedication to vines and wine, the D'Ambra family is passionately invested in restoring and preserving Ischia's beloved landscapes and historical agriculture practices.
