In the enchanting Trentino region, Marco Donati's vineyards benefit from a unique blend of valleys, Dolomite mountains and rolling hills. Each vine is meticulously placed in its ideal terroir, chosen after careful zoning to ensure perfect ripening conditions. This diversity, with altitudes ranging from 180 to 600 meters above sea level, allows an exquisite range of varietals to flourish.
The various soils and climates each cater to different grape varietals, which play into their wide collection range. They closely monitor each growing season, allowing them to carefully plan and manage the hand-picked grape harvest. Each vintage showcases this dedication year after year. Their collection of wines consistently reflects the highest quality and authenticity, proving that attention to detail and understanding grape cycles is of utmost importance.

Founded in 1863, the Donati family winery is one of the oldest in Trentino. Boasting a rich history of dedication and environmental care, with credit to Luigi Donati for originally purchasing the land. Today, Marco Donati, along with his wife Emanuela and daughter Elisabetta, continues this legacy. They focus on both traditional Trentino grapes and experimenting with new varieties. One of their standout wines, "Teroldego Sangue di Drago," comes from grapes grown on the 90 year old vines planted by great-grandfather, Marco.
The family's passion drives them to constantly improve their winemaking techniques, blending tradition with innovation. This dedication ensures that every bottle honours their heritage while setting a standard for future generations. The Donati family remains a key player in Trentino’s winemaking scene, celebrated for their quality and pioneering spirit.
