Sustainable Excellence
Giurfo was founded in 2001 by Achille Alessi and his wife, Giuseppina Giusino, on land owned by the Giusino family for over 200 years. The estate covers a vast area, where indigenous varieties such as Nero d'Avola, Frappato and Grillo thrive. The winery is part of the Sicilia DOC and Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. Since its inception, Achille has focused on enhancing the quality of their wines and promoting the estate. Their sustainable practices and organic farming methods reflect a deep respect for the environment. Giurfo's wines, rich in flavour and heritage, have certainly earned their fame, becoming a favourite among wine enthusiasts.
