Beyond that, they tend to exceptional ancient vines, replanted between 1932 and 1956. Thanks to its unique microclimate and coveted terroir, this plot consistently yields Barolo of exceptional quality. One family, one cellar, one unique hill
Acquiring the Boschis property in 1928, Giacomo Cavallotto laid the foundation. His grandchildren, Olivio and Gildo began estate vinification in 1946. Guided by their father Giuseppe and Uncle Marcello, they mastered winemaking alongside traditional viticulture practices. Continuing this legacy, Olivio's children Alfio, Giuseppe, and Laura have propelled gradual growth and quality enhancements since the late 1980s. Expansions to the cellars as recent as 2008 further support the estate's commitment to excellence.
