Le Monde's story began with Alex Maccan, who spent his childhood in these beautiful surroundings and dreamed of creating something special. With determination and the support of his lifelong friends Marta, Giovanni and Massimo, that dream became a reality. Their shared vision and passion for the land and wine, have driven the pursuit of quality. The team at Le Monde is a close-knit group, much like a family, where each member's unique talents contribute to their collective success. The winery itself was born from the transformation of a country farmhouse into a contemporary winemaking facility, maintaining old productive grapevines, planting new ones and never shying away from acquiring additional plots. Le Monde's dedication to respecting nature and people is evident in every bottle, inviting wine lovers to discover the rich heritage and unique flavours of Friuli.
