Ca’ Rugate – Campo Bastiglia Valpolicella Ripasso DOC

Grape: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, traditional Valpolicella blend.
Region: Valpolicella, Veneto. Rolling hills north of Verona, with limestone and clay soils that support both freshness and structure in the wines.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromas of ripe cherry, dried plum, sweet spice, and hints of cocoa. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with velvety tannins, layered fruit, and a long, warming finish.
Vinification & Ageing: Made using the Ripasso method, where Valpolicella wine is refermented on Amarone grape skins to gain richness, depth, and complexity, followed by oak ageing.
Ageing Potential: 6–10 years.
Food Pairing: Braised meats, grilled lamb, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses.
Fun Fact: Ripasso is often called the “baby Amarone” style, offering similar depth with a more approachable profile.

Casa D’Ambra – Biancolella Frassitelli Ischia DOC

Grape: Biancolella, a native white grape of the island of Ischia, known for its delicate aromatics and saline freshness.
Region: Ischia, Campania. Steep volcanic slopes overlooking the sea, with sandy and volcanic soils that give the wine its signature minerality and coastal character.
Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow. Aromas of citrus blossom, lemon zest, white peach, and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is crisp, elegant, and vibrant, with a distinct saline backbone and a long, mineral finish.

Grape: 100% Nebbiolo
Region: Serralunga d’Alba, Barolo, Piedmont. The Cerretta cru is known for its powerful structure and long ageing potential, with limestone-rich soils.
Tasting Notes: Garnet red with orange reflections. Aromas of rose, tar, cherry, licorice, and dried herbs. The palate is structured and intense, with firm tannins, bright acidity, and a long, complex finish.

La Prevostura – Coste della Sesia Muntacc DOC Nebbiolo

Grape: Nebbiolo and Vespolina
Region: Coste della Sesia, Alto Piemonte. Sandy, acidic soils with cooler Alpine influence produce lighter, more elegant expressions of Nebbiolo.
Tasting Notes: Bright ruby with garnet edges. Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, rose petals, and subtle earthy notes. The palate is refined and linear, with fine tannins, high acidity, and a fresh, elegant finish.
