Grape: 100% Barbera, one of Piedmont’s most important red varieties, known for its vibrant acidity, generous fruit, and supple tannins.

Boniperti – Barton Fara DOC

Grape: A traditional Piedmontese blend centred on Nebbiolo, with local varieties contributing complexity and balance.

Region: Piedmont, Fara DOC. The vineyards of the Colline Novaresi in northern Piedmont are characterized by cooler conditions and mineral-rich soils, producing wines that are elegant, fresh, and distinctly aromatic.

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red with garnet reflections. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet, dried flowers, herbs, and delicate spice. Medium-bodied and refined, with lively acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a long, savoury finish.

Vinification & Ageing: Fermented with gentle extraction to preserve the wine’s elegance and aromatic character, followed by maturation designed to soften the tannins and integrate the structure.

Ageing Potential: 5–8 years.

Food Pairing: Risotto, mushroom dishes, roasted poultry, veal, pasta with meat sauces, and medium-aged cheeses.

Fun Fact: Fara is one of the small historic appellations of northern Piedmont, where Nebbiolo takes on a particularly elegant and alpine-influenced expression compared with the more powerful wines of the Langhe.
