Le Berne – "Borbotta" Canaiolo Toscana Rosato IGT




Grape: 100% Canaiolo, a traditional Tuscan variety rarely vinified as a rosé, offering freshness, delicate fruit, and vibrant acidity.

Region: Tuscany. Rolling hills and warm days balanced by cool evenings help preserve freshness while developing expressive fruit flavours.

Tasting Notes: Delicate pale pink. Aromas of wild strawberries, raspberry, rose petals, and citrus zest. Dry, crisp, and refreshing with bright acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

Vinification & Ageing: Gentle pressing followed by cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness, purity, and delicate aromatics.

Ageing Potential: Best enjoyed within 2–3 years.

Food Pairing: Aperitivo, seafood, fresh salads, grilled vegetables, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses.

Fun Fact: This wine was named "Borbotta" in honor of their grandfather, whose trademark was his constant good-natured grumbling.

MARCO PORELLO- NEBBIOLO LANGHE DOC

 


Grape: 100% Nebbiolo

Region: Langhe, Piedmont. Limestone-rich hillsides produce Nebbiolo with exceptional finesse, freshness, and aromatic precision.

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red with aromas of wild berries, violets, rose petals, and subtle spice. Medium-bodied with silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, elegant finish.

Vinification & Ageing: Fermented in stainless steel followed by ageing in large oak casks to preserve fruit while adding complexity.

Ageing Potential: 8–12 years.

Food Pairing: Mushroom risotto, roasted poultry, charcuterie, braised meats, and aged cheeses.

Fun Fact: Often described as the "little brother" of Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo offers the classic aromas and elegance of Nebbiolo in a more approachable style.

ISTINE - CHIANTI CLASSICO DOCG


Grape: 100% Sangiovese, showcasing the purity and elegance of Tuscany's iconic grape variety.

Region: Chianti Classico, Tuscany. High-altitude vineyards and limestone-rich soils produce wines of freshness, precision, and remarkable balance.

Tasting Notes: Brilliant ruby red with aromas of cherry, violet, wild herbs, and delicate spice. Fresh and vibrant with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a long, savoury finish.

Vinification & Ageing: Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and concrete, followed by ageing in large oak casks to preserve varietal character and terroir.

Ageing Potential: 8–15 years.

Food Pairing: Pasta with ragù, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, pecorino cheese, and classic Tuscan cuisine.

Fun Fact: Istine is recognised as one of the leading producers of terroir-driven Chianti Classico, with vineyards spread across several of the denomination's finest villages.

I Clivi – Verso Rosso "Sclopit" Venezia Giulia IGT


Grape: Schioppettino (locally known as Sclopit), a rare native grape from Friuli known for its peppery spice, freshness, and vibrant character.

Region: Venezia Giulia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The region's cool climate and mineral-rich soils enhance the grape's aromatic complexity and lively acidity.

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red with aromas of blackberries, red cherries, cracked black pepper, violets, and wild herbs. Fresh and juicy on the palate with fine tannins and a spicy, persistent finish.

Vinification & Ageing: Fermented with minimal intervention and aged primarily in stainless steel to highlight purity and freshness.

Ageing Potential: 5–8 years.

Food Pairing: Charcuterie, grilled pork, mushroom dishes, roasted vegetables, and semi-aged cheeses.

Fun Fact: Schioppettino was almost extinct in the 1970s before passionate Friulian growers successfully brought this distinctive native variety back to life.
