Tasting Notes: Punta 470 represents the highest expression of Amarone wines made by Ca' Rugate. Intense garnet red in colour. Concentrated aromas of ripe blueberries, blackberries and cherries are enhanced with a hint of spicy oak. The palate is rich, full bodied and complex. Beautifully balanced with a lingering finish.

Ageing/Vinification: Grapes dry in well-ventilated rooms for 5 to 6 months. fermentation with natural yeast, then must is filled into 50l oak casts to finish fermentation. aged in wood for 25 to 30 months before bottling.

Vineyard: Vineyards are located in the hills around Montecchia di Crosara, which are between 410m and 440m above sea level with south-east exposure and soils consisting of gravel and limestone.
