Vinification

Our Faro DOC comes from bush vines over 80 years old, on clayey and calcareous soils, with a blend of 60% Nerello Mascalese, 30% Nerello Cappuccio and 10% Nocera. After 20-40 days of maceration on the skins and a 24-month refinement between oak and cement, it rests for six months in the bottle, expressing the authentic soul of the Messina territory.

Vineyard

Our vineyards, distributed over three plots totaling nearly three hectares, are situated on picturesque terraces at an altitude of 250-300 meters above sea level. Surrounded by a forest of ancient oaks and chestnuts, these vineyards form a natural "amphitheater" overlooking the Strait of Messina, where the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea meet.
