Tasting Notes: Very intense aromas with pleasant notes of marasca cherry and green tobacco, balsamic and violet tones. Full-bodied, soft palate with delicate tannins. The finish is fresh, mineral and very persistent.

Ageing/Vinification: Aged in large oak casks (50 hl) for 24 months in French oak, and a further 24 months in bottle before release.

Vineyard: Vineyards are located on high Piedmont, on the historical hills of Ghemme. Planted in 2000, they are south east/south west facing, about 300m above sea level, on soil with acid ph, clayey and sand.
