Etna and Le Contrade Mixed Case showcases the rich diversity of Sicilian terroir, featuring four wines from the iconic Passopisciaro estate on Mount Etna. Founded by the visionary winemaker Andrea Franchetti, Passopisciaro has been instrumental in redefining the potential of Etna wines, crafting expressions of Nerello Mascalese that capture the nuances of the region’s volcanic soils.

The crisp and mineral-driven Passobianco Terre Siciliane IGP contrasts beautifully with the elegant and structured Passorosso Etna Rosso DOC. The single-vineyard Contrada P Porcaria and Contrada C Chiappemacine showcase the power and finesse of Etna’s unique microclimates.

Our mixed cases are inclusive of tax and bottle deposit. Each mixed case contains one bottle of each:

Passopisciaro Passobianco Terre Siciliane IGP

Chardonnay 100%. A rich and lush body signals the heat of the vintage, yet it is brightened by its characteristic minerality and acidity.

Passopisciaro Passorosso Etna Rosso DOC

Nerello Mascalese 100%. Strong in body, powerful in structure, with notes of ripe red fruits, blood orange, pomegranate, and camphor. Linear, with a pronounced acidity.

Passopisciaro Contrada P Terre Siciliane IGT

Nerello Mascalese 100%. Tart cherry, pomegranate and whiffs of smoke. Structured with a nice tannic framework.

Passopisciaro Contrada C Terre Siciliane IGT

Nerello Mascalese 100%. Round and soft mouthfeel overall, it displays a more floral profile than other contrade. Ruby red with aromatics of red fruit, eucalyptus and dried florals. Medium body balanced, with a long finish.
