Tasting Notes: Ruby red with a rich bouquet of wild dark berries, purple flowers, and crushed stone. Full-bodied with supporting tannins on a savoury, mineral finish.

Ageing/Vinification: Classic red fermentation in vertical wooden cones, long maceration on the skins. Ageing: For 24 months in 'Nevers' oak cones. Naturally occurring malolactic fermentation.

Vineyard: 80 YO bush trained vineyards, about 1.5 hectare in size on the northern side of Etna. 600m above sea level on very sandy soil, fine texture.
