Vinification

Maceration in Slavonian oak with indigenous yeasts for 4 days. Fermentation with 11 months ageing in barrique. Refining for 12 months in stainless steel vats without filtration, then bottled for an additional 12 months. Unfiltered.

Vineyard

45 year old vines in Oslavia, Gorizia. 175m above sea level with south west exposure. Soil is predominantly clay and marn.
