Tasting Notes: Straw yellow in colour, the old vines and the long aging give it structure, flavor and length, without losing the characteristic freshness and cleanliness typical of our Gavi. It is a wine meant for aging, with an evolution towards notes of petrol and tropical fruit.

Ageing/Vinification: Vinified in temperature-controlled cement tanks, it rests for at least eighteen months in cement on the noble lees and for another eighteen months is aged in the bottle.

Vineyard: Vigna della Rovere Verde an old vineyard, overlooked by the imposing Green Oak of Tassarolo, 300m above sea level with south exposure. The red soils of the Gavi DOCG area originate from the stretching of gravels mixed with clay from ancient alluvial deposits. They are located north of Gavi, towards Tassarolo and Novi Ligure. Here, where the hills are gentler, the vineyards alternate with oak and chestnut forests.
