Vineyard: The Alto Belice Corleonese plateau, located behind the Palermo mountains, ranges from 300 to 950 meters above sea level (1,000 to over 3,000 feet). Formed from a silico-carbonate depression, it is surrounded by white calcium carbonate mountains. Over time, wind, air, and water have shaped soils with great variability, predominantly clayey with areas of sandstone and red sands.
