About the Winery – Oddero
Founded in the late 1700s, Oddero is one of the most historic and revered estates in Piedmont. Over seven generations, the family has played a defining role in shaping the identity and global reputation of Barolo.
Based in La Morra, the estate farms some of the appellation’s most iconic vineyard sites, including Brunate, Rocche di Castiglione, and Villero—cornerstones of Barolo’s cru system.
A pioneer of estate bottling and vineyard expression, Oddero remains a benchmark of traditional Barolo. Today, the wines are celebrated for their purity, structure, and remarkable age-worthiness, reflecting both heritage and precision.
The Oddero Family
Mariacristina and Isabella Oddero lead the estate as seventh-generation custodians of their family’s legacy.
Mariacristina oversees the global presence of the winery, acting as its ambassador worldwide, while Isabella leads vineyard management and winemaking. Together, they balance tradition with a modern, sustainability-driven approach, ensuring that Oddero continues to produce wines of clarity, structure, and enduring elegance.
