The difference lies in the details
In the heart of Langhe, Mauro Molino’s vineyards are surrounded by a landscape of rolling hills and rich soils, each plot contributing its own unique character to their wines. The climate here is ideal for cultivating Nebbiolo and Barbera, allowing for a diverse array of expressions. From the Barolo Gallinotto’s refined notes of mint and eucalyptus to the elegant aromas of Barolo Bricco Luciani, each vineyard offers something distinct. Their Barolo Conca, renowned for its complex and spicy profile, exemplifies the region's capacity to produce exceptional wines and stands as one of their most prestigious crus.
Their unwavering commitment to quality shines through in their meticulous attention to every phase of production. With a keen eye for detail and a passionate spirit, they elevate their wines to new heights.
Inherited roots, redefined
Founded in 1973 by Mauro Molino, this winery has deep roots in the region’s winemaking tradition. Mauro's journey began with his graduation from the Alba School of Oenology. He then honed his skills while working in Emilia Romagna, gaining valuable experience and knowledge to help bring his dream to life. Returning to Langhe in 1979 after his father’s passing, Mauro transformed inherited vineyards into a thriving enterprise. By 1982, he had crafted his first Barolo from their Conca vineyard, marking the start of a legacy. Today, Mauro Molino leads his winery with the support of his two children, Matteo and Martina. Both graduates of the same Oenology school as their father, they harness their education and passion to celebrate the unique characteristics of Langhe’s terroir. Their commitment to quality and tradition remains a cornerstone of their success, recognized year after year.
