Tasting Notes: Clear, intense ruby red in colour. Complex aromas with hints of strawberry, cherry jam, floral and mineral notes. The palate is balanced and intense, with dense and elegant tannins. A long savoury, minerally finish.

Ageing/Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation followed by maceration in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23°C for 20 days. Aged 6 months in Slavonian oak cask and at least 4 months in bottle.

Vineyard: Grapes come from Vigna del Lago and Vigna del Piano, plots vocated for a powerful but youthful Sangiovese. They are 250m above sea level, with west/south west exposure on soil that is medium in texture with limestone clay and sand.
