Tasting Notes: A ripe, racy effort laced with dried fruit, wild rose and spice. A medium to full-bodied Rosso where harmonious flavours and underlying minerality add complexity to the fresh finish. A great introduction to the Sagrantino varietal.

Ageing/Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with only wild yeasts existing on grapes. 24 months ageing, 12 of which are spent in large oak barrels. 4-6 months in bottle before release.

Vineyard: Located in the town of Montefalco, Milziade Antano is in one of the two DOCG designated wine regions in Umbria, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG. Vines planted in 1975 on clay soils that are rich i minerals.
