Tasting Notes: Deep, saturated opaque ruby. Assertive tannins typical of the Sagrantino varietal support expressive layers of stewed fruit, leather and dried tobacco. This is focused and powerful; a landmark in the world of Sagrantino.

Ageing/Vinification: 30 day maceration on the skins, 37 months refining of which 16-18 months are in in large oak barrels and 4-6 months are in bottle.

Vineyard: Vineyards in Bevagna area, 265m above sea level with a north south and east facing on clay soil.
