Tasting Notes: Medium ruby red in colour with lovely notes of dried cranberries, licorice and rose petals. A perfectly elegant and accessible wine from the Alto Piemonte area. The Lessona is easy to drink young but will age for many years if you prefer to cellar.

Ageing/Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with maceration of 30 days, malolactic fermentation in wood. Ageing 22 months in barriques and tonneaux and another 11 months in bottle.

Vineyard: Cultivation zone: Northern Piedmont, in Lessona, highest rows of vines of La Prevostura vineyard. Elevation: 390 metres above sea level.Aspect: South. Soil type: 35% ancient marine sands, 40% silt, 25% clay.
