Tasting Notes: Deep ruby-red, almost blending into purple. On the nose, it is full of ripe fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine has excellent body while staying well balanced. Notes of red cherries and blackberries with some firm tannins.

Ageing/Vinification: Traditional-style, floating cap fermentation of estate-grown grapes for 15/20 days. Ageing: In medium-sized oak barrels for few months or sometimes stabilized in an inert tank.

Vineyard: Cultivation zone: 'Scudetto' is downside the Chapel of Santo Stefano of Perno, in the commune of Monforte d’Alba.
